***STAMP CLUB CHALLENGE***

This months Stamp club challenge was to do a "Faux Silk" card.On my card the background is the Faux silk. Faux silk is done with a piece of tissue paper that you stamp on and then crumple it all up and smooth it out again. Then I run a piece of card stock Thur my xyron and lay the tissue paper on top of it and trim it to fit the card stock. If you can't under stand my direction go to splitcoaststampers here-- http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ee/index.php/resources/tutorials/faux_silk/
You will find the wonderful directions from Beate Johns. Here is my card

STAMPS: Fabulous flowers,Teeny tinies,So many sayings,Itty bitty backgrounds
INK: Pretty in pink,Old olive,Regal rose
PAPER: Pretty in pink,Regal rose,Old olive,Vanilla
OTHER: Ribbon,Tissue paper-white,Gems,Pop ups,Stickles(star dust),Black stampin' writer,Punches(13/8,Designer label,large oval,ticket corner,word window

I stamped the flower three times,I first stamped full ink,the second time I stamped off once, then on the third I stamped off two times which gave me a lighter piece each time.I then cut a full flower in full color,I then cut the next one short then the first and the next one was just a small amount for the middle. and then layered them with pop up. I then put stickles all around the edges. I added a green gem in the center and in the corner of the card. I did not like the stark white of the tissue paper so, I took my same colors and sponged on my tissue paper.
