This is the last mailbox I'm going to do.

Well, my stamp camp class wanted to do the mailbox---so I said OK* I had bought about 28 of them last year when everyone was making them and I never did much with them until now! and I'm sick of them.LOL I guess I will do anything for my class. We also made two 21/4"x31/4" little notes with it. Everyone liked the whole thing, I was very happy. We also did a male card with Faux Leather. We have been doing a technique card each month. This month it was "Faux Leather" and they wanted a male card. So I thought faux leather was very appropriate for a male. So here they are.

Faux Leather is very easy to do. You start by taking small pieces of masking tape and over lap them onto each other. Make sure to tear the masking tape do not cut it. When you have filled your paper you then rub over it with your choice of ink. I used the spectrum pad first, then used a sponge and used Really rust and close to cocoa until I liked what I saw. You then pour embossing powder on top and heat. There is no need to use versa mark the ink is enough. and put your card together. Your done.
